Resilience Voyage Ltd Drugs Bus

On Friday the Resilience Voyage Ltd visited the school along with their Drugs Bus.

Students learned about knife crime, drugs use and
offending and the thinking behind the risks and behaviour in an immersive and engaging environment.

Upstairs of the bus is made to look like a stereotypical drug user’s bedsit and downstairs has two on-board escape room style prison cells. Students worked in small groups to solve clues and puzzles relating to their learning to get released.

It was a great opportunity to experience what a prison cell is really like and how it feels to be locked in one with no freedom. This allows students to make better informed choices should they be presented with situations in the future and empower them to say no.
