A reminder that Friday 23 October is an INSET Day. There are internal exams for Year 11 in the morning but the school is closed to other students. School re-opens for all students following half-term on Monday 2nd November with the continuation of staggered start times in place.

We would like to thank parents for their support in ensuring the students arrived with a face covering as part of their school equipment this morning. A reminder that this requirement will remain in place whilst Essex is at least in Tier 2 of the government’s Covid restrictions.

and in shared communal spaces (i.e. muster points at break and lunch where they are not eating). Students are not required to wear face coverings during lessons; however, they may still do so if they prefer. All adults in the school will also be following the new rules. 3/3

A face covering must be worn by students: •for the duration of their journey to and from school if they catch a bus, •as they enter the school building at the beginning of the day, •whenever they are moving around inside the school building (i.e. lesson changeovers) 2/3
