April – Callum Cortes

In spite of challenges Callum faces outside of school, he is always polite and hardworking, never complaining or argues about anything in school.  Callum has recently been showing a great deal of empathy for those with autism and has helped those in his form understand what it is like to support someone who is autistic.  Callum is a great role model for others in how to deal with difficulties without letting it affect his attitude to school.

May – Sophie Thickbroom

Sophie has been nominated for her contribution to school sport and her own sport outside of school. She regularly attends swimming sessions at 5.30 in the morning and then again in the evenings whilst still representing the school and achieving well in her lessons. Her effort and attitude in school generally is excellent and she is a model representative for the school.  (Money is going to French and PE)

June – Josh Holt

From Year 12 Josh massively overcame his lack of confidence and did a full 2 week work retail placement and did amazingly well with excellent feedback from the company in Basildon.  Also, he has had very good attendance in retail lessons and done achieved well in his coursework.
