Throughout Year 8, a group of students took part in an initiative which was run by the ‘Careers and Enterprise Mentoring’ through Southend Borough Council, called ‘60 Minute Mentoring’. Students took part in group and individual sessions with their staff and also an outside mentor Rachael Haine (past Bromfords Student) throughout the year.
The group attended the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 12th September and I am pleased to announce that Luke Hegarty and Lily McNamara both received a ‘Special Award’ trophy for their efforts and participation throughout the year.
